Mike and Sharon Hargrove Collection

Mike Hargrove spent the bulk of his playing career with the Cleveland Indians then stayed with the ball club as a manager in the farm system. In 1991 he took over as manager of the Indians and led the team to World Series appearance in 1995 and 1997. Mike was the Indians “Man of the Year” in 1980 and 1981. During his 20 year tenure with the Indians as a player then manager, Mike and his wife Sharon became very popular figures in Cleveland .

The Hargrove Collection features memorabilia acquired by Mike during his stay with the Indians. Some of the items include a framed jersey, two commemorative black bats from the 1995 and 1997 World Series, an autographed team ball and framed team photographs from the mid 1990’s.
