The Reference Staff of the Western Reserve Historical Society Library and the Associate Curator for Jewish History will be happy to guide your search for more information on your ancestors. The library holds all available federal population census schedules from 1790 through 1930. Guides to publications and genealogical collections of genealogical and historical societies throughout the and in are available in the Library. A marriage and death index to the Jewish Review and Observer (1889-1954) and a name index to the J.D. Deutsch Funeral Home Records are in preparation.
Research on Jewish Family History in the WRHS Archives Library is a bibliography describing the large volume of material available for genealogists seeking information about their roots, both in the and in other parts of the world.
