Corporate Service and Engagement
Individual Volunteering
WRHS welcomes individuals from local companies for community service. Projects and volunteer experiences are based on the needs/wants of the individual and the historical society. This may also serve as a training experience for employees to learn a function of an area they are not otherwise exposed to.
Does your organization reward the hosting volunteer organization with a monetary donation for individual volunteer services donated? Contact your HR department for information about this type of volunteer service agreement.
Organizational Volunteering
Does your organization have Done-in-a-Day Community Service Projects?
WRHS works with companies that perform the one day of service a year, for half day and full day projects. Groups of 20-50 people are welcome to come to WRHS and provide services such as: grounds maintenance, painting, cleaning, bulk mailing, database entry, gardening, programming assistance, restoration/preservation, and other specific project needs.
Corporate Services Donation
Are you a company that offers its services as an in-kind donation rather than offering a monetary donation. This is a great first step in working with the Historical Society. Today, 54% of corporate giving is in-kind. In kind gifts can take the form of: product or equipment donations, donated services (time and expertise) and/or use of facilities.
Corporate Donations
In place of monetary donations, WRHS does accept donations of goods/products to our programs. Should you have a product you think our organization can be of benefit.
Please contact Becky Carlino, Director of Volunteer & Visitor Services a bcarlino@wrhs.org with inquiries and questions regarding Corporate Volunteering and Services.
